I’m 22 years old and, like a lot of people my age, I’m still trying to figure myself out.

For a long time, I’ve attempted to decide what I want to do with the rest of my life. But I keep coming back to the same question: How am I supposed to know what I want from life when there is still so much of the world I haven’t seen?

I once heard that when you walk in the footsteps of a stranger, you learn things you would never have otherwise. I want to learn those things. I want to experience different places, meet people whose lives look completely different from mine, listen to their stories, and hopefully understand the world and myself a little better along the way.

That’s why I created Luisa in Focus.

Through my stories, photographs, interviews, and experiences, I hope this little corner of the internet finds people who might feel a little lost too. People who don’t necessarily have everything figured out yet but are curious enough to keep going anyway.

I can’t tell what tomorrow holds. I could be back in school, settled somewhere for a while, or waking up in a completely different country.

Whatever happens, I want to document it here.

And hopefully, somewhere along the way, create something worth remembering.
